DAY 2- FAVORITE SCENE

Every single slap is my favorite scene. They’re just all surrounded with so much humor. It’s very much a gag, but it’s the best of the series in my opinion. Plus, they’re all sort of similar (in the way that Barney cringes and how every slap is expected, but still surprising) and are now just one big scene in my head.

An Open Letter to January Jones Regarding Her Baby’s Daddy

Hi. Can we please talk for a minute about why articles like this are infuriating? The identity of the father of January Jones’s baby is none of our business. What’s more, speculating about it, for fun or whatever, feels like an uncomfortable and seemingly normalized offshoot of the same fucked up mentality that makes any woman’s right to privacy something to debate.
Jones, being a woman, is expected to forgo her privacy simply because we must know what man had the power to knock her up, and until she gives in and tells all, we’re somehow in the right to make bets and jokes and even go so far as to imply that maybe she’s not telling because she wants the attention—because clearly all women want as much attention as possible, am I right?

This is one of the most blatantly misogynistic things I have ever read. Jesus fucking Christ.

One of the worst things about this is that the article was written by a woman. It would still bother me if it was by a man, but to see women attack other women over such things is despicable. Maybe the author believes she CAN’T be sexist because she is a woman as well, but that’s incredibly untrue. Once women start to believe they’re immune to being sexist or misogynistic simply because they’re a part of the same sex, other women begin to lose confidence in not only themselves, but in their sex as a whole. Women should be coming together to protect one another instead of becoming a bully or an enemy. You don’t need to be a feminist to show other women respect.

Rick Perry’s desperate attack on gays. I’m laughing so hard because I have no idea what else to do

des·per·ate/ˈdespərit/

Adjective:
  1. Feeling, showing, or involving a hopeless sense that a situation is so bad as to be impossible to deal with.
  2. (of an act or attempt) Tried in despair or when everything else has failed; having little hope of success.

Hey, Rick Perry, you know that America was founded on the principle of freedom from religious persecution? AKA asshole Christians like you who think America is a theocracy and everyone else should abide by its archaic rules. Have you ever heard of separation of church and state? Fucking dick.

don’t misunderstand me, my roommate is probably one of the best, but having a room all to myself until i leave on friday will be spectacular. i think i’ll celebrate by walking around naked for a bit.
